Mazz’s story…

From the age of 15 Mazz has performed to audiences large and small; she’s been part of groups The Kingsdown Band, The Counterfeit Notes, Band of Gold and Love Junkies (Sister Band). Mazz has also created, managed and fronted groups of her own – Twilight, Mazz & Vic, Taste This, The Third, BreakEven and Noteify.

Having started by playing Violin at a young age after seeing Nigel Kennedy at the Royal Variety Performance she had a taste of music and wanted to take it further. When she started at Secondary School she became Head Violinist of the School Orchestra around the same time that she entered the yearly school talent show with her best friend and sang for the first time infront of an audience, something that only up till then she’d only done into a hairbrush in the mirror in her bedroom alone.

Singing and miming to Kylie, little did she know that one day she’d sing to over 3,000 people. From the humble beginnings of the school talent show she worked her way to school solo’s, local talent shows, then onto duo’s and bands.

Fifteen plus years down the line Mazz has wowed audiences at War and Peace, Dock Rock and also been on BBC Radio Kent a few times. She loves what she does and it’s obvious when she performs! Her energy, enthusiasm, vocal timbre and range are what keeps people listening. She is extremely hardworking when it comes to her performances and takes time to ensure that songs are perfect before she performs them. Mazz enjoys tailoring each setlist to each environment and prides herself on having high quality, reliable equipment.

Don’t believe us, why not come see her perform, check out her calendar for dates.
